NLC obtains the B Corp certificate: business as a force for good

NLC is extremely proud to announce that as of March 2020, it became a Certified B Corporation. That means that the non-profit B Lab established that it meets their rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Every day, NLC is dedicated to advance health, and make it accessible to everyone in a sustainable way. Therefore, the standards to qualify as a B Corp match the company’s DNA perfectly.

‘NLC was founded 5 years ago based on the idea that too many great healthtech inventions never reach the patient, while bringing them to the market would be life changing for many. Our company and our way of working is built around bringing together the best tech and the best people – both our own team of employees and our extensive network of specialists – to build ventures that can have a huge impact on the health of people around the world. Our team is dedicated to making an impact every day and I’m very pleased this effort is now recognised through our B Corp certification’ says Bert-Arjan Millenaar, founder and CEO of NLC.

Today, there are over 2,200 Certified B Corps around the globe. NLC is the first company in healthtech venture building that is awarded this certificate. The team is proud to join the B Corps community in redefining success in business, so that one day everyone uses business as a force for good.

I have been working with NLC for a couple of years. From the first moment, NLC saw opportunities where I didn’t. Without the expertise and commitment of NLC, Nico.lab simply wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t be able to help stroke patients this day.”
